Welcome to Project Access
In Palm Beach County, people live with preventable pain, illness, and suffering. They let treatable symptoms persist until they become big problems. They go to work sick. They are unable to ask for help or afraid they won’t be able to afford it.
But we want to transform our community into a place that provides equitable access to health care. We want residents—regardless of their economic situation or employment status—to know where they can go to access the services and the support they need. As a result, we want to bolster the overall rate of good health and spread wellness throughout the community.
This is not an impossible goal. It’s the work we’ve been doing for over 15 years, right here in Palm Beach County. We connect program participants with local health care providers and community resources.
Thanks to generous volunteers, sponsors, and a network of physicians (who we rightfully call our HEROES), we have already provided over $14.4 million in charitable health care to those most in need—creating a stronger, more resilient, healthier, and happier Palm Beach County.

Program Services
Health Coverage Screenings
Often, the hardest part is asking for help. Our Care Coordinators offer a thoughtful screening process that ensures we fully understand your background and today’s needs. Then, they can connect you with the most appropriate service providers, resources, and specialists in your local area. Once you reach out to Project Access, we make it as easy as possible to access the help you need.
Community Connections
Wellness goes beyond a clean bill of health. Often, individuals need access to a holistic network of support in order to get back on their feet, especially following an injury or prolonged illness. Thankfully, Project Access has created connections throughout the community, including nutritional programs, rent assistance, mental health support, local transportation, and more.
Direct Care
Eligible participants can make appointments with our network of volunteer physicians—aka, our HEROES. A Care Coordinator can help you find the right specialist, schedule the visit, and even arrange transportation. They can provide translation services, call with reminders, and provide additional support along the way to ensure that you’re fully prepared for your appointment.
